WE’RE GOING VIRTUAL – JOIN US!
Considering recent global events our training and racing plans for 2020 have changed, but that doesn’t mean we can’t focus on smaller challenges.
The landscape for running and cycling events is shifting online and we want to connect the global Uglow Sport community to join the fun.
We’re bringing you four individual challenges throughout May, which you can take part in close to home while following social distancing regulations relevant to where you live. Join one challenge or all four, it’s up to you.
Participation in the Uglow Virtual Series is 100% free and we’re throwing in a bunch of prizes for you to win. The Series is open to everyone so invite your friends and family.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- JOIN the Uglow Sport Official Strava Club (if you aren’t already a Member). https://www.strava.com/clubs/uglowsport-official-582909
- Search our scheduled events and click JOIN EVENT.
- You’ll have the whole week to complete the Event – all you have to do is get out there, track your effort and UPLOAD your activity to Strava.
- Once your activity is uploaded, snap a pic and SHARE on social media tagging @uglowsport so that we can send you some Kudos.
- Your attempt will be recorded on the Event leader board. PRIZES will be awarded to the Male and Female at the top of the leader board at the end of the week. We’re also awarding prizes drawn at random so everyone has a chance to win.
WHEN DOES IT START?
- Challenge 1: 4th – 10th May
- Challenge 2: 11th – 17th May
- Challenge 3: 18th – 24th May
- Challenge 4: 25th – 31st May
WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES?
Challenge details will be released one week in advance, but we can tell you now that Challenge 1 is a 5KM time-trial. Just you against the clock – simple.
We are also providing some healthy competition for your kids, check out the 1KM, 2KM or 3KM Uglow Kids Challenge on our Strava Club as well.
WHERE IS IT?
There is no entry fee or official venue, the Uglow Sport Challenge is entirely virtual – its up to you whether you take to the road, mountain, beach or your garden to complete the Challenge.
Prizes
1st Male and 1st Female will win a Uglow Super Speed Aero T-Shirt from the 2020 Collection and we’re offering 3 lucky draw prizes per challenge.
ANY RULES?
We do, however, ask that anybody who takes part follows their local social distancing rules. Let’s have fun, but stay safe at the same time.
